Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical reviews of incoming therapy requests and associated clinical documentation, including diagnoses, evaluations, and treatment plans, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in your assessments.
• Assess the medical necessity for physical therapy services and ensure the Plan of Care aligns with established treatment modalities, including recommended duration, intensity, and frequency of care.
• Document clinical determinations while identifying trends and educational opportunities for providers, facilitating a culture of continuous improvement in therapy delivery.
• Provide Peer to Peer consultations with fellow therapists to ensure adherence to clinical appropriateness before finalizing and submitting cases to the Medical Director.
• Adhere to all personnel policies and operational protocols, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be integral in providing care to a diverse range of patients, including those dealing with acute injuries, chronic pain, developmental disabilities, and post-surgical recovery needs. Your expertise will play a crucial role in tailoring rehabilitation goals to help each patient gain independence and improve their quality of life, while also preparing customized plans for pediatric patients when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated competency in providing inpatient care and familiarity with outpatient and acute care settings.
• Proficiency in applying trigger point therapy techniques and a solid foundation in anatomical and physiological principles.
• Ability to engage effectively with pediatric patients, understanding their unique needs.
• Experience in diverse clinical environments, including hospitals and rehabilitation centers.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a lead therapist role or supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of hospital medicine practices and the ability to integrate into multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient information and treatment plans efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
