Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, identifying their physical needs and developing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and neuromuscular reeducation to facilitate optimal patient recovery.
• Work collaboratively with a healthcare team to integrate multidisciplinary insights into patient care, ensuring a seamless treatment continuum.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adapting treatment protocols and objectives to reflect changes in patient condition and foster continuous improvement.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, lifestyle adjustments, and injury prevention strategies to empower them throughout their healing journey.
• Accurately document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
• Adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines, maintaining a high standard of care and promoting a safe therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will be critical in implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing recovery, functionality, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Certification in CPR/BLS from the American Heart Association is preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and time-management skills are essential for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and comfort with documentation standards.
• Previous exposure to a variety of patient populations, including geriatric and pediatric cases, is highly desirable.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional development, staying abreast of the latest therapy practices and innovations in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
