Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological needs, employing standardized assessment tools as necessary.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and address their specific challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring each intervention is evidence-based and trauma-informed.
\n
• Maintain collaborative communication with physicians and other healthcare providers to report on patient progress, discuss concerns, and address any emerging issues.
\n
• Document clinical activities accurately and timely, including progress notes, ensuring compliance with department policies and standards.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, including assessment and intervention for acute emotional or behavioral problems.
\n
• Coordinate care by assisting clients with discharge planning and connecting them with necessary resources and support systems post-treatment.
\n
• Engage with families and support systems to ensure a comprehensive understanding of treatment options, discharge plans, and ongoing support requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center on a diverse population of clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges. This includes individuals affected by trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and more. Your therapeutic approach will prioritize empathy, cultural competence, and a commitment to enhancing each client’s life through effective, personalized strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or its equivalent is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant, full-time experience providing mental health services in a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Proficient in using MS Office and other relevant digital tools that enhance service delivery, documentation, and client engagement.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a strong capacity for self-direction and organization.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with telehealth platforms for delivering remote counseling services. Familiarity with maintaining client engagement through virtual sessions is highly desirable.

• Specialization or additional training in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or other evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
