Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions for assigned clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique needs.

• Facilitate group counseling sessions, providing support and education to participants in a collaborative learning environment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and discharge plans, ensuring that each client’s treatment modalities are comprehensive and collaborative.

• Engage actively in clinical team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment strategies, and quality assurance measures.

• Manage and maintain accurate clinical documentation for each client, adhering to licensing standards while ensuring high-quality records for audit purposes.

• Coordinate care among various treatment services and professionals involved in clients' ongoing mental health needs.

• Maintain regular communication with clients’ family members and referral sources to enhance support and collaboration in the treatment process.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and task groups, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our clinical practices.

• Be involved in in-service training and professional development to ensure continuous growth in clinical competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of clients facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. A strong emphasis will be placed on individualized care, recognizing that each client has unique strengths, challenges, and goals. This position also allows you to work with family dynamics, involving family members in treatment when appropriate to foster healthier communication and relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure in California as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent is required. Please note that applicants with an associate-level license cannot be considered due to billing constraints with Medicare.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite, are essential for maintaining documentation and communication.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple client cases while remaining focused on delivering quality care.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently, ensuring that client needs are addressed without constant supervision.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
