Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans, factoring in developmental stages and unique family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a diverse range of issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate engaging family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in promoting healthy family dynamics.

• Collaborate closely with our child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals for comprehensive care coordination.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support, especially during mental health emergencies impacting our younger clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal standards, ensuring compliance and ethical integrity.

• Participate actively in ongoing training, professional development initiatives, and team-building activities.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This includes fostering supportive relationships with these young clients and their families, guiding them through their mental health journeys, and promoting resilience and emotional growth. Your expertise will significantly impact their lives, improving their mental well-being and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, as well as familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy to young clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate approach and a focus on child-centered care.

• Ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• A commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a specific focus on child and adolescent mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
