Our remote work setting enables mental health professionals to maintain a balanced and flexible work-life dynamic while still engaging closely with patients and colleagues. While the majority of your patient interactions will happen online, you will be part of a collaborative team that regularly connects through virtual meetings and case consultations to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account cultural sensitivity and the unique backgrounds of each patient.

• Tailor and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address individual needs, ensuring patients feel understood and supported throughout their treatment journey.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that empower patients to navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to formulate and execute integrated treatment plans that promote comprehensive care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, equipping patients with coping strategies in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and available treatment options, while also connecting them to relevant community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical regulations, ensuring high standards of patient care management.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team discussions, and ongoing cultural competency training to refine your practice continuously.

• Engage with current trends in mental health care and ongoing research, applying best practices to improve service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) is required.

• Current professional licensure to practice in New York State.

• Demonstrated expertise in culturally competent therapeutic practices is highly desirable.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on creating a nurturing and inclusive treatment environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in providing therapy to varied populations, especially underrepresented communities, is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices in remote counseling will be advantageous in this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
