Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care by conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating treatment plans, and implementing care protocols under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist.
• Perform dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and other minor surgical interventions, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with organizational protocols and legal requirements, ensuring that all information is timely and compliant.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic regimens, post-procedure care, and wellness strategies, fostering health maintenance and preventive care.
• Provide vital input to the healthcare team regarding patient care challenges and outcomes, contributing to case discussions and decision-making processes.
• Uphold infection control protocols and safety measures to protect all patients and staff within the healthcare environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient demographic, addressing a wide range of dermatological conditions from minor skin irritations to complex skin disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a similar program, with completion of a registered Physician Assistant education program.
• Current board certification and a valid, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in New York State.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in the Dermatology specialty is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication, teamwork, and organizational skills that promote an efficient and collaborative work environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a surgical or outpatient dermatology setting is a plus, along with familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits
