Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and families, formulating a comprehensive understanding of their unique challenges and needs.

• Offer individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities that are tailored to each client's identified goals and needs.
\n
• Complete detailed documentation including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms promptly to ensure compliance and efficient service delivery.
\n
• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans as necessary to support patients in achieving and maintaining stability.
\n
• Create thorough discharge plans to facilitate a smooth transition for clients upon completion of their therapy.
\n
• Adhere to all current federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, as well as organizational policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your competence and skills, including ongoing training and continuing education.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster teamwork and share insights for improved patient care.
\n
• Complete all licensure and mandatory training requirements to remain compliant and informed in your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals battling depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and experiences, allowing you to engage deeply with the community and address the unique challenges they face. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field, which leads to licensure.

• Current licensure in New York State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing telehealth services, with familiarity in utilizing online platforms for therapy sessions preferred.

• A strong background in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and the ability to implement them effectively in a virtual setting.

• Prior experience working with a diverse client population, particularly in a community mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
