Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences, foster connections, and support one another through their unique struggles.

• Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling that encourages clients to delve into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, equipping them with coping mechanisms and actionable strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaboratively design individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of your clients.

• Progress Monitoring: Assess and track the progress of your clients using various assessment tools, continually adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals in a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and consulting on complex cases to ensure holistic support for every client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 attending our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces unique life transitions and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery. Your role is pivotal in helping these individuals navigate their challenges, fostering resilience and hope for a brighter future.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts, able to practice independently.
\n
• Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a solid understanding of mental health diagnoses.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working with young adults in an outpatient or residential setting.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and tools to effectively deliver virtual therapy sessions.

• Expertise in group facilitation and treatment planning methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is approximately USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
