Our team operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling work-life balance while maintaining a supportive virtual community. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand client needs, formulate diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver high-quality individual therapy to adolescents and adults, with the option to work with couples and families if qualified.

• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation of clinical interactions in adherence to Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and insurance standards.
\n
• Engage in collaborative peer consultation, participate in case conferences, and contribute to team development initiatives to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Uphold ethical principles and cultural humility in all interactions, ensuring the provision of culturally sensitive care.

• Leverage electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate seamless access to care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPCC at The Still Point, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and significant life transitions. Your ability to connect with clients on a personal level will be crucial as you help them navigate their emotional landscapes using evidence-based therapies and resilient coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current California LPCC license in good standing, with registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and eligibility for independent practice.

• Completion of at least 6 semester units of supervised experience in counseling couples and families, if you choose to provide these services.

• A proven commitment to social justice and experience working effectively with diverse populations.
\n
• Training in at least one evidence-based therapeutic modality (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, or trauma-informed approaches).

• Strong technical skills and comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient mental health care.

• Proficiency in providing care via telehealth technology and adapting therapeutic approaches for online mediums.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Still Point offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as access to a retirement savings plan. We aim to empower our clinicians with the flexibility to manage their caseloads (ranging from 10 to 30 sessions per week) based on their individual work styles.
