Our hours are structured to prioritize client and clinician wellness, running Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring there are no evening or weekend commitments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain rapport with clients to foster trust and effective therapeutic relationships.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify clients' needs and mental health status.
\n
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans centered around each client's goals and circumstances.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, assessments, and progress notes in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.

• Hold regular sessions with clients to review their progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary; ensure effective discharge planning when clients meet their goals.

• Participate actively in individual supervision meetings to seek feedback and refine clinical techniques.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and specialists to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in trauma-informed care and therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse client population experiencing a range of mental health issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use challenges, and eating disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and the counselor will support them through individualized therapeutic practices that align with their unique life experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An unrestricted, independent, current, active LPC license from the state of Georgia is mandatory.
