Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy by assessing and managing an assigned caseload, coordinating closely with the patient and healthcare team.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized care plans that prioritize patient engagement and goal attainment.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic and rehabilitative interventions in accordance with established laws, guidelines, and ethical standards.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, the proper use of assistive devices, and self-care strategies to be utilized outside of clinical sessions.
• Assist in prioritizing the therapy caseload and manage daily staffing needs to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Document all patient interactions, interventions, and progress in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or the willingness to obtain it within the first 30 days of employment.
• No prior experience is required; however, a strong commitment to patient-centered care is crucial.

Preferred Experience

While no experience is required, candidates with internship or clinical practicum experience in outpatient settings or rehabilitation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with current therapeutic modalities and treatment practices will be beneficial in enhancing patient care quality.

Compensation and Benefits
