Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Optimal Recovery Physical Therapy Clinic in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work onsite at our rehabilitation center, providing comprehensive care to patients across a variety of specialties. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their needs and establishing tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment programs based on individual patient progress and response, ensuring adherence to physician guidelines.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to treat patients from various backgrounds, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Deliver both onsite and home-based therapy services, employing skilled therapeutic techniques to maximize each patient's functional outcomes.
• Consult and educate patients and caregivers about treatment processes, expected outcomes, and proactive strategies for health maintenance.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and enhance clinic effectiveness by fostering a positive rapport with every patient.
• Collaborate with an integrated healthcare team to achieve optimal results and meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program is required.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer software applications.
• A demonstrated ability to establish trusting relationships with patients, fostering an environment conducive to achieving therapeutic goals.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly those with expertise in treating orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, or sports-related conditions. Experience with specific tools for outcomes tracking or therapeutic modalities will be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience and qualifications, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
