Our clinic is available for appointments Monday through Saturday, providing you with the flexibility to build your own schedule while reaching out to and supporting clients when they need it most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to understand their unique mental health needs.

• Utilize graduate-level clinical techniques to deliver effective therapy tailored to each client’s situation, managing diverse presentations of mental health conditions.

• Engage in initial reviews and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans, collaborating with clients to chart a course for their mental health goals.

• Document all client interactions and treatment interventions timely and ethically, participating in regular case discussions and patient rounds with our interdisciplinary team.

• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring clients have access to a range of therapeutic options to enhance recovery.

• Manage case coordination for assigned clients, liaising with external resources, hospitals, and community programs to facilitate holistic care.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Safe Harbor Therapeutic Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling, with active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapy.

• Strong ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to maintain accurate client documentation.

• Commitment to working flexible hours, including the ability to manage a client caseload of up to 40 hours per week.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with telehealth practices.

• Proficiency in delivering therapies that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or similar evidence-based modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
