Healing Hearts Counseling is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. As a part of our outpatient psychiatric practice, you will engage in meaningful work that positively impacts the mental health and wellbeing of students remotely from your home office in Bellevue, Washington.

Our primary focus includes school-based remote therapy, allowing you to connect with students and families during their academic journeys, ensuring comprehensive mental health support is accessible even in the most challenging circumstances.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, identifying their unique needs and collaboratively developing individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, through virtual sessions with individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health challenges, building resilience, and creating a sense of community among students.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, and parents to ensure integrated and holistic care for each student.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and offer support during mental health emergencies, ensuring swift and appropriate response measures are executed.
\n
• Educate students and their families about mental health disorders, various treatment options, and community resources designed to promote overall wellness.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions in strict compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities.

• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and advancements in the field of mental health and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will predominantly encompass students, facilitating therapy that addresses issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and substance use. Recognizing the unique dynamics of school environments, you will develop strategies to effectively communicate and engage with students across various age groups and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Washington is necessary to practice as a mental health therapist.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, and effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and devising successful treatment plans.
\n
• Proficient in providing individual and group therapy, with experience serving diverse populations.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport building with students, families, and colleagues.
\n
• Demonstrated professional integrity with sound judgment concerning ethical boundaries and practices.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology-based therapeutic tools.
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health therapy is required, candidates with a history of working in school settings or with youth populations are preferred. Experience with teletherapy or virtual counseling methods will also be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
