This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering therapy to your clients during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). As part of a supportive team, you will engage in regular online meetings and consultations to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify and evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health status.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing a range of therapeutic approaches.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families regarding the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices.

• Ongoing monitoring of clients' progress throughout treatment, adapting the therapeutic approach as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate coordinated care, addressing any pharmacological needs and ensuring comprehensive treatment.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development sessions to cultivate clinical skills and stay informed about best practices in mental health therapy.

• Advocate for clients, working to destigmatize mental health challenges and promoting awareness of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is primarily on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from young adults to seniors, each presenting unique challenges and requiring tailored approaches to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT, with a strong understanding of their application to mood disorders.

• Comprehensive knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists in the treatment planning process.

• A demonstrated history of successful outcomes in treating patients with mood disorders, showcasing your ability to make a positive impact on client health.

• Exceptional communication skills with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
