The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patients' psychological backgrounds and to identify appropriate treatment options.

• Craft and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and mental health diagnoses, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing strategies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to promote healing and growth.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care plan for patients, enhancing their treatment outcomes.

• Manage crisis intervention effectively, demonstrating composure and expertise during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment choices, and vital community resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case conferences and team meetings to continuously improve practice standards and patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Virginia is essential to practice.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with clients and facilitating therapy sessions.

• Proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
