Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health status.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in therapeutic sessions.

• Provide education and guidance on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to clients and their families.

• Continuously monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatric and medical staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical practices.

• Keep accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will serve a diverse range of individuals, encompassing various backgrounds and cultures, thus requiring a deep understanding and sensitivity to diverse mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, specifically working with clients who have mood disorders.

• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to enable effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
