Key Responsibilities

• Provide weekly, evidence-based therapy sessions via live video conferencing to adult clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive and well-rounded treatment approaches for each client.
• Utilize automated symptom self-assessments and clinical progress measures to evaluate effectiveness and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with clients' goals.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation utilizing our streamlined therapist portal, which enhances the efficiency of record-keeping and allows for easy access to client information.
• Engage in continuous professional development and actively participate in workshops and peer review sessions to stay abreast of the latest evidence-based practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of adult clients, each seeking support for various mental health concerns. Our clients come from multifaceted backgrounds, and many face challenges pertaining to cultural differences, life transitions, and stressors unique to the vibrant Huntington Beach community. As a compassionate LCSW, you will foster a safe, non-judgmental space for these individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings while empowering them with tools for successful coping and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An independent LCSW license to practice in California is required; additional state licenses are a significant advantage.
