Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' unique mental health and emotional needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive client evaluations and evidence-based practices.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as individual, family, and group therapy, adapting techniques to fit client preferences and needs.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as required to optimize outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.

• Maintain meticulous client records in accordance with legal guidelines and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic client care, sharing insights and treatment strategies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions, workshops, and supervision to stay current in the mental health field.

• Uphold the ethical guidelines established by relevant licensing boards and ensure compliance in all therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Grandview Behavioral Health Center, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. Our telehealth model allows us to engage with patients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care is delivered tailored to each individual’s context and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.

• Active state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) is mandatory.
