Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews and comprehensive documentation from initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Assess clients' emotional, behavioral, and social health to create tailored intervention plans.

• Facilitate effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to promote recovery and personal growth.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring all interventions are aligned with their goals and our best practices.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers to ensure a coordinated approach to client care and to address any referrals effectively.

• Provide education and support to clients' family members to help them manage their loved ones' mental health challenges.

• Engage with various healthcare technologies, including electronic health systems like AVATAR, to keep accurate and timely client records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele at Primacare encompasses a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults, facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures, needing a nuanced understanding and sensitivity to their unique circumstances and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• Successful completion of the NCE and/or NCMHCE exams.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information to clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems to manage client information accurately.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a proven track record of managing cases, developing treatment plans, and guiding clients through their mental health journeys.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a competitive sign-on bonus.
