Key Responsibilities

In the role of a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and symptoms, enabling accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and designing individualized treatment plans that may incorporate various therapeutic techniques—including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Instructing patients on how to engage in therapeutic exercises correctly and safely to maximize their rehabilitation potential.
• Providing hands-on treatments such as massage or therapeutic stimulation to facilitate healing.
• Assisting patients with the proper use of mobility aids like wheelchairs and walkers to enhance their independence.
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records, documenting progress and setting realistic goals for rehabilitation.
• Advising patients and their families on effective at-home treatment options, as well as exercises to continue their recovery outside of sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective patient interaction and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills for documentation purposes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
