Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art clinic, where you will work a five-day work week, Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours. You will experience an engaging and collaborative work setting alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather detailed patient medical histories to inform treatment decisions.
• Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, developing tailored treatment plans for each patient.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each patient's health status.
• Provide education to patients regarding disease prevention, management strategies, and post-treatment protocols, empowering them to take an active role in their health.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate optimal patient care and ensure seamless communication.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to best practices in documentation and data management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve patients suffering from chronic pain, which may include conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain. Our patients range from adolescents to seniors, each presenting unique challenges that require an understanding of both medical and emotional health. You will be expected to approach patient care with empathy, actively listening and adapting to their individual needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required, and a Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner is highly preferred.
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse licensure and an active Nurse Practitioner certification.
• At least two years of experience in pain management or relevant clinical settings, demonstrating competency in conducting physical examinations.
• Possession of a current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is essential.
• Excellent clinical judgement, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in pain management techniques, including but not limited to pharmacological management, physical rehabilitation approaches, and alternative therapy assessments, is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will facilitate better documentation practices and inter-disciplinary communications.

Compensation and Benefits
