This remote role incorporates telehealth services, allowing you to provide therapy sessions through secure video conferencing platforms. The work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique background and experiences. Develop appropriate treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual, taking into account cultural, social, and personal influences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, helping patients address their mental health concerns, build resilience, and improve their overall well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and effective management of acute situations.

• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all patient information is securely managed.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance professional development and organizational cohesiveness.

• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continually refine your skills and approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants seeking mental health support. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, coupled with evidence-based treatment approaches and cultural competence in practice.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive methods.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with composure.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven record of building rapport with diverse individuals.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
\n
• A commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality.

• An ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
