Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at First Base Therapy, you will engage in the following key responsibilities:

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and culturally inclusive approaches.

• Identify and enhance coping mechanisms for clients, providing them with practical tools and strategies to navigate life’s challenges and improve their mental health.

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources and support services that promote their overall wellness.

• Continuously assess and adjust therapeutic strategies based on client feedback and progress reports.
