Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and family therapy sessions while maintaining a focus on the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions for a maximum of 8 clients, allowing for deeper interpersonal connections and more personalized care.
\n
• Developing treatment plans and using evidence-based methodologies to guide client progress.
\n
• Participating in regular case conferences with fellow clinicians to collaborate on treatment strategies and share best practices.

• Utilizing our electronic health record system to document sessions and track client progress efficiently.

• Staying informed about current developments in mental health practices and completing required continuing education units (CEUs).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adolescent and young adult clients who are navigating challenges related to mental health and substance use. This demographic is increasingly affected by anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues, and your expertise will contribute significantly to their recovery and well-being. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A valid and active mental health license (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).

• Availability to work between 12 and 40 hours per week, depending on whether you choose a contract (1099) or full-time (W2) position.

• Experience working with youth and young adults in a therapeutic setting is an asset.
