Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Trusted Hands Health Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing counseling and crisis intervention to patients through virtual sessions, including thorough assessments and tailored treatment plans for emotional and behavioral issues.
\n
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to communicate patient progress, concerns, and treatment needs, thereby ensuring holistic care delivery.
\n
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including detailed clinical and progress notes, as per departmental protocols, to support effective treatment and care continuity.
\n
• Working closely with the healthcare team to devise comprehensive treatment plans, including discharge plans, grounded in psychosocial assessments and established therapeutic interventions.

• Actively engaging with community resource leaders and representing Trusted Hands Health Center at relevant meetings and committees to address the broader social needs of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals navigating various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will be critical in providing empathetic support and effective treatment solutions to help them achieve their desired outcomes and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Possession of an independent license in one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preferred candidates may have additional experience in areas such as teletherapy, multidisciplinary collaboration, or community mental health programs. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
