Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary assessments through virtual consultations to evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Document treatment plans and progress accurately in electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on unique client needs.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and approaches to promote therapeutic growth.
\n
• Regularly monitor and review clients' progress against their treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to address any new concerns.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care for clients, following up on cases requiring hospitalization.

• Identify and proactively address behaviors that may hinder clients' recovery, while providing guidance to family members and caregivers to support their loved ones effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a deep understanding of therapeutic practices and ethical considerations.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate documentation.

• Comprehensive understanding of addiction disorders and associated health conditions, possessing the ability to integrate this knowledge into treatment plans.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities that foster trust and rapport with clients.
