This position operates in a predominantly remote setting, allowing flexibility in your work arrangement while engaging with clients during scheduled sessions. Our outpatient office provides a supportive backdrop for interactions that may also transition into occasional in-person meetings with team members or clients, depending on specific needs and circumstances. We emphasize a collaborative approach within our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs using validated diagnostic tools and interviewing techniques that inform accurate clinical diagnoses.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique goals and needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, employing both individual and group therapy techniques that encourage open communication and provide coping strategies for managing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, delivering immediate support during acute mental health emergencies to stabilize clients and outline a plan for ongoing care.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment progress, and ongoing assessment results, ensuring compliance with professional ethical standards and applicable regulations.

• Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to create a unified treatment approach that optimally supports client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on various mental health issues, guiding them through treatment options and connecting them with additional community resources when necessary.

• Commit to ongoing professional development, pursuing continuing education opportunities and attending workshops to remain abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele that may include children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Clients may present with a variety of challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and interpersonal difficulties. Your role is pivotal in creating a safe and therapeutic space where clients feel supported to explore their thoughts and feelings, understand their behaviors, and work toward positive change.

Qualifications\n

• A current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) valid in California.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
