Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to identify movement impairments and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that align with each patient's personal goals and therapeutic needs.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to deliver effective treatment, which may include exercises, manual therapy, and education.
• Foster collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home safety techniques to promote continued recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive team culture that supports professional growth and shared knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic conditions, and patients seeking to improve their overall mobility and functional ability. You will focus on creating tailored plans that empower patients to achieve their personal goals, whether that is recovery after an injury, pain management, or improving overall strength and balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload in varied home environments.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and progress tracking.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting.
• Familiarity with the latest therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a fulfilling career, the benefits package includes:
