Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews to understand clients' histories, symptoms, and goals.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate interactive individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging open communication and engagement among participants.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to provide holistic care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic health records, tracking client progress and treatment effectiveness.

• Follow up with clients’ healthcare teams following hospitalizations or significant changes in their treatment status.

• Support clients and their families in managing behavioral challenges and developing coping strategies to facilitate recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a wide range of ages and backgrounds, presenting with diverse mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent care and understand diverse client backgrounds.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, pivotal for effective client interactions and documentation.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine empathy for clients facing mental health challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in a telehealth setting.

• Experience dealing with the effects of prescription medications as part of treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
