Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our therapy team, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and specific symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and crafting individualized treatment plans that promote progress and healing.
• Instructing patients on effective therapeutic exercise techniques and ensuring they understand the correct methods for implementation.
• Administering stimulation or therapeutic massage to enhance recovery and improve physical functions.
• Assisting patients in utilizing supportive equipment, such as wheelchairs and walkers, to aid their mobility and independence.
• Maintaining detailed patient records and documenting goals, progress, and treatment modifications using our electronic health record system.
• Providing educational support and advice to patients and their families regarding at-home treatment options and follow-up exercises to facilitate continued healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients, addressing a variety of conditions including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic pain issues. Your role will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for patients by enhancing their mobility, alleviating pain, and promoting overall health and wellness.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex medical information clearly to patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software and basic computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits
