Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment options tailored to the emotional and psychological needs of young clients experiencing symptoms of mental illness or emotional distress.

• Design and implement individualized therapeutic plans, accessing resources and services that support students’ mental health and academic success.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and healthcare providers, to promote an integrated approach to student mental health.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings to determine the mental health status of students and recommend further assessments as necessary.

• Facilitate individual therapy, group therapy, and family sessions aimed at fostering resilience, developing coping strategies, and enhancing overall well-being.

• Ensure thorough documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, submitting data in a timely manner to facilitate continuity of care.

• Participate in crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support and planning appropriate follow-up care for students in crisis.

• Engage proactive outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness and available resources within the school community.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
