Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing professionals to maintain an optimal work-life balance. You will join a collaborative team of health care professionals who share a common goal of providing outstanding patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., accommodating personal well-being while contributing to the broader mission of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, facilitating an accurate diagnostic and treatment approach.
• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a personalized therapeutic experience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective counseling sessions.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and responsiveness to client needs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical specialists to provide integrated care tailored to the holistic needs of each client.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic strategies and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will work primarily with adults and families experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Our clients often seek support for navigating significant life transitions, resolving conflicts, and improving communication skills within their relationships. As a key player in helping clients find their pathway to recovery, the LMFT will play a fundamental role in fostering mental health wellness in the community.

Qualifications

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that help to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach to clients' challenges and experiences.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage a caseload and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within community health settings or clinics is a plus.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and contemporary treatment methodologies for mood disorders.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery and client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
