Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for each client based on their individual needs and circumstances.

• Offer both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the diverse experiences of teens and adults affected by domestic violence.

• Provide crisis intervention and continuous emotional support to clients, ensuring they feel safe and understood during challenging times.

• Keep detailed and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to the ethical and moral standards of counseling.

• Engage actively in clinical supervision meetings to discuss case progress, challenges, and professional growth opportunities.

• Maintain open lines of communication with clients regarding referrals and community resources that will further assist their healing process.

• Participate in the program's data collection and administrative responsibilities, ensuring that counseling objectives are met in line with organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your practice will include children, teens, and adult clients, particularly women and adolescents who have experienced family violence. Many of these clients may face deep emotional distress and trauma due to their home environments. Your role will be pivotal in advocating for their needs while offering understanding and skills to help them navigate their circumstances effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active LPCC license is mandatory to practice in California.

• Must be available to work at least two late afternoons (3-8 PM) per week to accommodate clients' schedules.

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for potential in-office collaboration and community outreach.
