Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments to identify clients' psychological needs and create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and follow-up care to ensure the safety and well-being of clients in various settings.
\n
• Collaborate closely with the Department of Correction to facilitate access to mental health services for incarcerated individuals, ensuring they receive appropriate housing and treatment.
\n
• Lead therapeutic group sessions in various settings, particularly units focused on mental health observation.
\n
• Document all client interactions and progress meticulously, completing all required statistical reports in compliance with clinic standards.
\n
• Engage in clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor regularly to foster professional development and improve therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Participate in case conferences and treatment planning sessions, contributing to a holistic approach for clients receiving mental health care.
\n
• Occasionally conduct psychological testing as necessary to assist in treatment planning and evaluation of clients’ progress.
\n
• Mentor and supervise social work interns or volunteers to foster their development in the mental health field.
\n
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff to support clinic operations and address patient needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on providing care to individuals with a range of mental health issues, including those facing severe mental illness, behavioral challenges, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding these individuals toward recovery and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active License as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• A Master's degree or doctoral qualification in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience providing direct client care in a behavioral health setting, with at least two years post-licensure.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with incarcerated populations or in correctional facilities is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in conducting both individual assessments and treatment for clients with complex behavioral health needs.
\n
• Knowledge and experience in leading group therapies focusing on various mental health modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Bloomingdale Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
