Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and document client histories from initial consultation through the end of treatment, ensuring comprehensive records are maintained.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, using standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to inform treatment decisions.

• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups, considering each client's unique circumstances.
\n
• Facilitate high-quality individual and group therapy sessions, implementing creative therapeutic approaches to reach various client demographics effectively.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment plan, adjusting as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other mental health specialists, physicians, nurses, and social workers on intervention plans to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Provide follow-up communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients admitted to hospitals, sharing critical information regarding their mental health and recovery progress.

• Proactively identify and intervene in behaviors that may hinder recovery, utilizing your clinical insight to guide clients toward healthy coping strategies.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing mental and behavioral challenges associated with their loved ones' conditions.

The clients you will work with range from children to adults, all facing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain client documentation and treatment plans.

• In-depth understanding of the interplay between mental health and physical health conditions as well as familiarity with best practice guidelines from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and empathetically.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor in outpatient settings.

• Experience working with addiction disorders and knowledge of applicable treatment modalities.

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000, reflecting your expertise and the value you bring to our team.
