Work Environment

Your role will primarily be onsite, engaging with patients in an outpatient clinic setting that fosters teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals. The workplace is designed to maintain a conducive environment for both patient treatment and staff interaction, allowing for an integrated approach to therapy. We operate Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver thoughtful and individualized care tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Manage a manageable patient caseload, allowing you to dedicate adequate time and attention to provide high-quality therapy.
• Implement evidence-based care strategies, employing a variety of modalities to encourage the restoration of motion and mobility.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans that integrate multiple treatment techniques suitable for each patient.
• Focus on non-surgical methods as alternatives to conventional medical treatments, minimizing patients' reliance on medication wherever possible.
• Motivate and inspire patients to participate actively in their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness and track patient progress through thorough evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and therapy services provided, using EMR systems such as Web PT for efficient record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse client population, primarily comprising patients seeking rehabilitation following sports injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. Your expertise in orthopedic care will be essential as patients look to regain strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about prevention strategies and empowering them in their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Exhibit a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in EMR software, particularly Web PT, for effective data management and reporting.
• Stay well-informed about contemporary physical therapy practices and research to ensure the delivery of optimal patient care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, facilitating comprehensive patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within outpatient settings, especially in sports medicine, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
