Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic treatment to clients through telehealth, ensuring each session is tailored to individual needs and circumstances.

• Conduct comprehensive intakes, individual therapy sessions, as well as group and family therapies to meet the diverse needs of our clientele.

• Perform detailed mental health assessments to inform treatment planning and execution, ensuring adherence to Federal, State, and organizational guidelines.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to optimize treatment strategies, especially for clients with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on diverse adult populations experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Our approach encompasses a holistic view of each client's situation, allowing for individualized care that respects their unique life experiences and cultural backgrounds. You will be instrumental in fostering a safe and supportive environment for all clients, assisting them on their journey to improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.

• Must have at least three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on evidence-based therapies.

• Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong foundational knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare providers.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

• Experience in crisis intervention and providing support to clients navigating urgent mental health challenges.
