Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document clients' cases from initial consultation to treatment completion, ensuring an accurate and compassionate approach.

• Formulate and implement tailored intervention plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and engaging environment for clients to explore emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout their treatment plans and make necessary adjustments to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in follow-up communication with all parties involved in client care, especially for clients requiring hospitalization.
\n
• Identify behaviors or conditions that may hinder recovery and develop proactive strategies to mitigate these obstacles.

• Work closely with families and primary caregivers, providing support and guidance in managing the mental health challenges of their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health issues, behavioral challenges, and emotional crises. Our clients may include children, adolescents, adults, and families from various backgrounds, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches. The focus is on creating actionable solutions that foster lasting improvements in their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable effective client interaction and documentation.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
\n
• A sensitive and empathetic demeanor, along with the ability to handle complex emotional situations with professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting, specifically within a community health or telehealth environment.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to manage client data efficiently.
\n
• Experience with the impact of physical health conditions, emotional disorders, and addiction on mental health.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects on patient treatment and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
