Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify their unique needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy tailored to identified needs, ensuring that all therapeutic interventions are evidenced-based and culturally appropriate.

• Complete documentation, billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms efficiently, adhering to strict deadlines.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support ongoing patient stability and recovery.
\n
• Create personalized discharge plans aimed at facilitating a smooth transition for clients returning to their everyday lives.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulatory mandates, alongside adhering to Summerfield policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and education to maintain and enhance your clinical skills.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing your insights and expertise to the collaborative decision-making process.

• Keep updated with all licensure requirements and mandatory training to maintain your professional standing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups who present with a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure is required.

• Licensure: Applicants must hold current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• Clinical experience in a community health setting is preferred, especially with underserved populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and level of licensure. In addition, we provide:
