Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed intake assessments to understand each client's unique challenges and strengths, forming the foundation for tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions addressing a spectrum of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts, utilizing therapeutic modalities that best suit each client.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive and holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client's wellbeing.

• Engage in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to remain knowledgeable about the latest practices and interventions in the mental health field.

• Contribute to the clinic's initiatives by providing feedback on program effectiveness and suggesting enhancements to improve client services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work primarily involves individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of emotional challenges. This includes adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Your empathy and skills will play a crucial role in fostering healing in this varied clientele.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• An active license or certification in New York State as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of two years of experience working with clients who face emotional and mental health challenges, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate building rapport and trust with clients quickly.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred, although not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
