Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods in sessions, engaging with individuals, couples, and families through approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and the security of client information.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care, sharing insights and strategies to support shared objectives.

• Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities to stay current with emerging trends in the mental health field and evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a broad range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults who present with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance misuse. Many of our clients face barriers to accessing traditional mental health care; therefore, our goal is to provide empathetic and culturally competent support to foster improved health outcomes and enhanced quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling capacity, preferably within a clinical or similar environment.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards surrounding mental health practice.
