Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing therapists to work from anywhere with an internet connection while maintaining a consistent work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly and designed to facilitate effective and engaging virtual therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' unique circumstances and craft appropriate, individualized treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient, utilizing techniques that are responsive to their cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, while promoting resilience and overall well-being.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to remain up-to-date with best practices and promote collaborative care.

• Stay informed about the latest research, treatment advancements, and relevant cultural considerations in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role.
