The role of the Licensed Mental Health Therapist is structured for a remote setting, utilizing telehealth technologies and electronic health records (EHR) systems for document management and client interactions. While primarily remote, you will have access to a vibrant outpatient office that serves as a hub for collaboration and professional growth. This setup supports flexibility in your schedule while ensuring that you can reach patients effectively. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adjustments possible based on individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, identifying target areas for effective treatment interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective support.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process trauma, learn valuable coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate care.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to foster empowerment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

The clients you will serve are primarily individuals recovering from trauma, encompassing a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. This population may include adults facing symptoms of PTSD, individuals with complex trauma histories, and clients diagnosed with dissociative disorders, all of whom require specialized, empathetic care. You will play a pivotal role in supporting these individuals as they navigate their recovery journeys and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
