Work Environment\n

Sessions are conducted Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to understand the specific challenges encountered by older adults, such as cognitive decline, social isolation, and chronic health issues.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address the psychological and emotional wellbeing of elderly clients.

• Deliver various therapeutic modalities, including individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention, to effectively support patients experiencing mental health crises.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geriatric psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in managing their health.

This position primarily focuses on serving elderly individuals who face complex mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, dementia, and psychiatric conditions that require tailored therapeutic approaches. Our therapists employ strategies that are not only evidence-based but also culturally and contextually appropriate for the geriatric demographic, ensuring that treatment is respectful of patients' backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
