Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the specific psychological needs of children and adolescents, utilizing both structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be children and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral problems. This role requires a nuanced understanding of the developmental and emotional needs of young individuals, along with the ability to work collaboratively with their families to create safe and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a nationally accredited program is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, familiar with cognitive-behavioral and family systems approaches.

• Proven experience delivering individual and family therapy, particularly within a child-focused context, with at least two years in the field.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
