About the Position

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio. Some weekends required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule). Float within hospital system required. Call responsibilities included.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown experience
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
• Experience with isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
• Former employees must have been away from facility for 6+ months; current employees ineligible
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
