Recoverease Therapy Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, California. Work Environment

This role is entirely onsite, allowing our Physical Therapists to work directly in clients' homes across the San Francisco area. The role requires a proactive approach to creating treatment environments that are conducive to rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Direct the physical therapy treatment process to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, and restore or enhance muscle function, tailoring approaches based on each client's unique needs in accordance with established care plans.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure proper implementation of therapy protocols and adherence to treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels using a range of diagnostic tests targeting muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
• Assess the client's home environment and make recommendations to enhance their independence, safety, and accessibility for rehabilitation purposes.
• Implement prescribed physical therapy services, which may include administering therapeutic exercises, traction, and various treatments involving physical agents.
• Monitor clients' progress by observing, recording, and reporting changes in their condition and therapy responses, documenting this information accurately.
• Engage in collaborative care planning by participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights from physical therapy evaluations.
• Educate clients and their families on therapy protocols, equipment use, and overall care management to foster understanding and compliance.
• Complete and maintain thorough clinical records including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
• Be available for direct oversight of Physical Therapy Assistants during patient treatment to ensure adherence to care plans.
• Manage any additional assignments as designated to meet organizational goals and improve patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's Degree.
• A current and active Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in California.
• At least one year of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Strong commitment to quality patient care, fostering positive relationships, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on engaging patients and their families.
• A proactive, creative thinker with the ability to make challenging decisions in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care setting and familiarity with OASIS documentation and reporting.
• Proficiency in working with interdisciplinary teams and participating in case management meetings.
• Demonstrated ability to tailor treatment strategies based on client feedback and changing circumstances.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
