Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's condition and set individualized treatment goals.
• Develop and implement customized therapeutic exercise programs that address specific patient needs and recovery objectives.
• Utilize various manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and improve functional abilities.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Document treatment outcomes and progress through electronic medical record (EMR) systems to maintain precise patient history.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to therapy.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Incorporate fitness and wellness strategies into rehabilitation plans to encourage long-term health and injury prevention.
• Emphasize non-surgical approaches, advocating for conservative treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; advanced degrees such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are highly preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with a clean record free of sanctions or board actions.
• Proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation practices and manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in developing and executing individualized exercise regimens.
• Comfort with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in a rehabilitation center or outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
